The Texas Confessional Lutherans is a group of lay and pastors who are interested in studying the unchanging Bible and the Lutheran Confessions in relationship to the current, ever changing circumstances within the Lutheran Church. TCL meets every other month at Grace Lutheran Church in Brenham, Texas. Guest speakers may be in person or via speakerphone. The Texas Confessional Lutherans Free Conference, now in its Twentith iteration, is a longstanding service to Lutherans around the country. Denominational leaders, scholars and faithful pastors present topics on a theme suggested by the Free Conference Committee with plenty of time for Q&A on matters related to church affairs. The papers are often posted on the webpage and/or available on mp3 or other audio means. The Conference convenes in August or September every year.

Concord, an organization of confessional Lutherans meets after each Free Conference and after the North Texas Free Conference at Faith, Plano, in January.
